Kenisha Henry enters her first season as assistant coach with the women’s basketball program.
Prior to her time at West Alabama, Henry served as an assistant coach at Abilene Christian during the 2023 season, specializing as a coordinator of defense.
She coached two players, Payton Hull and Bella Earle, to All-Western Athletic Conference accolades during her time in Abilene.
Henry also served as an assistant coach at Central Arkansas from 2018-2023, where she oversaw academic support for the program. In her time with the Bears, the team achieved a 3.0 GPA.
She played collegiately at Delta State, earning her bachelor’s degree in exercise science in May of 2015.
Henry began her coaching career soon after, teaching and coaching at J.Z. George High School in Carrollton, Mississippi from 2015-2018.
Henry earned her master's degree from Central Arkansas in May of 2020.
