2014 (Junior): Played in 46 sets with 18 match appearances … Totaled 74 kills (1.61 kills per set), four assists, two solo blocks, 17 block assists, 84.5 points (1.84 per set) and .959 reception percentage … Season high of 12 kills against Barry (Oct. 17, 2014) … Season high of 13.5 points against Barry (Oct. 17, 2014) … Totaled three blocks in three separate matches. 

2013 (Sophomore): Made 23 match appearances ... Posted the second most kills on the team, eighth most in the Gulf South Conference, with 224 (2.73 per set) ... On defense she tallies 36 digs and 13 blocks ... Tallied the team's most single match kills with 22 against Christian Brothers (Sept. 28) and most kills in four sets with 21 against Shorter (Sept. 21) ... Her best attack percentage of .410 came against Valdosta State (Sept. 24) when she tallied 19 kills in 39 attempts.

2012 (Freshman): Started in 22 matches of 30 matches played … tallied 238 total kills (2.64 kills per set) … finished the season fifth in most kills.

Prior to UWA: Prepped at Addison High School in Addison, Ala…Brings a long list of accolades to the Tiger volleyball program as she was named to the 2011 Alabama All-Star Team and the 2009, 2010, and 2011 1A State Team…She was also named the 2012 State Tournament Most Valuable Player and garnered the 2011 All-Area MVP…Ray guided her team to two state championships and one runner-up finish in the state of Alabama…At the completion of her outstanding high school career, she was named to the Under Armor All-America Watch List…Was a member of the BETA Club throughout her high school career.  

Personal: Morgan Renee Ray was born on June 18, 1994 in Naperville, Ill…She is the daughter of Bill and Phyllis Ray and has two brothers – Hunter and Hayden …Ray is majoring in pre-pharmacy at UWA.
