LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama men's basketball team (1-7) looks to get back in the win column Wednesday evening when the squad entertains Martin-Methodist at 6 p.m. inside UWA's Pruitt Hall.
The Red and White enter Wednesday's meeting following two-straight losses to Columbus State. After falling in a tight 68-66 thriller on Nov. 30, the Tigers failed to avenge the Cougars in a 78-66 loss this past Saturday.
For the season UWA is led by junior guard
Jared Woolfolk who averages a team-high 13.8 points per game, while junior center
Darrion Booker holds the team lead with 5.6 rebounds per game.
Martin-Methodist comes into Wednesday's affair with a 9-2 overall record, having won four straight on the year. Guard Ree McCrory leads the team with just over 19 points per game and just under five rebounds per contest.
Following the clash against Martin-Methodist, the Tigers travel to Stephenville, Texas to face Tarleton State on Monday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
