Men’s Basketball to Host 2024 Nick Woodruff Basketball Camps

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama men's basketball program will host its annual Nick Woodruff Basketball Camps this summer.  The festivities begin with a kids camp on July 15-16 and an elite camp on July 19.

The camp will be divided into two separate sessions, both at Hughes Gym and Pruitt Hall on the UWA Campus. Athletic trainers will be present at both sessions.

Session I will take place July 15-16 from 8 am. to 2 p.m. The session will be open to all boys and girls K-12th grade and will cost $65.

Campers will be divided into age and ability groups, and for younger campers, the goals will be lowered.

Lunch will be provided each day. The coaching staff requests that parents send their child with their own labeled water bottle each day.

Session II, otherwise known as the Elite Camp, will be designed for college-aspiring players and focus on offensive skills building. The camp will be for rising ninth through 12th grade boys.

Five-on-five scrimmages will headline the session and challenge each athlete with a fast-paced style of basketball.

The camp will take place July 19 inside Pruitt Hall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to attend the camp is set at $75.
