LIVINGSTON, Ala. - Playing its final non-conference game of the season, the University of West Alabama men's basketball team will take on Oakwood at Pruitt Hall on Monday night. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Tigers enter the game with a 9-14 record after dropping a 90-69 decision to North Alabama on Saturday, and the contest is the second in a stretch of four games in seven days as the Tigers will make their final push to make the Gulf South Conference tournament with games against West Georgia and Valdosta State later in the week.
Those games are at home as well giving the team a three-game home stand to end the regular season. The Tigers currently own a 6-7 mark at Pruitt Hall.
Alquan Mendenhall is pacing the Tiger offense as he has a team-best 14.0 points per game while
Ryan Fitch leads on the glass with 6.2 rebounds per contest. Fitch also leads the team with 34 steals and 22 blocks.
