"We spoke at halftime about how our target has to be in the second half and we came out and won the second half 2-0 against the defending national champions. Our target this season was to show that we could compete against the best and we have. Tonight we definitely proved that we are making great strides as a program."

"We're a third year program and regionally ranked; not every team can say that. We have extremely talented individuals who work every day and who will continue to do that until we can win championships. We are in an extremely competitive conference, but we want to challenge ourselves against the best. Now we will regroup, work hard and come back to win another challenge next year. I am sure you will see great things from us."
