LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Women's Soccer program is gearing up for their 2026 campaign and announced their schedule on Monday.
UWA comes into the new season after putting together one of their best seasons in nearly a decade in 2025. The Tigers closed the year with a 11-4-3 overall record and made an appearance in the GSC Semifinals.
West Alabama will begin the year at home on August 28 for a senior day matchup against Kentucky Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m. After their senior day matchup, UWA will hit the road for a non-conference contest against Montevallo on September 1 before heading to Bluftton, South Carolina for a matchup against South Carolina Beaufort on September 5.
The Tigers will open GSC play with a contest against UAH at home on September 11 at 5:00 p.m. The following week, West Alabama will travel to Lee and Valdosta State for contests against the Flames and Blazers on September 16 and 19. To close the month of September, UWA will play Delta State at home on September 23 before a road matchup against Spring Hill on September 26.
To begin the month of October, West Alabama is slated to play three of their first four games at home, hosting Christian Brothers, Union, and Montevallo while going on the road to play AUM. To close out the regular season, the Tigers will be on the road for matchups against Mississippi Christian on October 17 and Trevecca Nazarene on October 23.
The GSC Tournament is set for November 1-8.
