LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama baseball team will host Montevallo Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Tartt Field. The game was originally scheduled for Feb. 13, but was rained out.
The game scheduled for Wednesday against William Carey at Tartt Field has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
West Alabama comes into Tuesday's game with a 16-17 record. D.J. Turo and
Mitch Holgate lead Tiger hitters with .362 and .323 batting averages, respectively. Montevallo is 23-12 and ranked 19
th in the College Baseball Lineup NCAA Division II poll. The Falcons have five hitters batting over .300, with Andrew Hill leading the way at .385.
UWA returns to Gulf South Conference play Saturday, hosting North Alabama in a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
