LIVINGSTON, Ala. – A new array of in-game promotions and student reward prizes highlight the return of Gulf South Conference basketball to Pruitt Hall for the first time in 2014 on Saturday.
 
The UWA men's and women's basketball teams are host to Shorter on Saturday, with the women's game tipping off at 2 p.m. and the men following a half hour after the conclusion of the women.
 
Tiger fans will have the opportunity to win prizes courtesy of Domino's Pizza and Batter Up Sports Bar and Grill at halftime of both games by participating in the Pizza Toss or UWA Hoops Tic-Tac-Toe. Fans are encouraged to attend Saturday to learn the nitty-gritty details of Pizza Toss and Tic-Tack-Toe.
 
To participate in the UWA Athletics Student Rewards Program, UWA students enter Pruitt Hall by swiping their student ID to earn credit for supporting Tiger athletic events. Students earn a credit for every event (all sports) they attend, but must swipe their card. A tally will be kept, with points accruing at each game or match attended.
 
UWA students are admitted free of charge with their student ID to all Tiger athletic events. At the end of the semester, three students will win the following prizes:
 
1^st Place: A set of Beats Studio® by Dre head phones
2^nd Place: Car Stereo System from Cash, Buy, Sell and Trade of York
3^rd Place: $100 Gift Certificate from Outback of Meridian.
