"We just didn't play a complete game all day," said UWA head coach
Will Atkinson.
"We went into extra innings in game one, but really only had one inning where we didn't protect the softball and that ultimately came back to bite us. Game two, again, really came down to one inning. We got enough out of our pitchers today to have an opportunity to win, but our situational hitting was just not what it has been. Overall this team has what it takes to be successful, but they're going to have to play complete games."
