LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The 2005 Gulf South Conference champion West Alabama baseball team will be honored on Saturday, April 25 between games of a GSC doubleheader between the Tigers and Alabama Huntsville.

The reunion was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18, but has been postponed to April 25-26 due to the inclement weather expected for much of the upcoming weekend in the Livingston area.

The doubleheader gets underway April 25 at 2 p.m. at Tartt Field. The day's activities begin with an casual continental breakfast for 2005 players and their families from 9 a.m. until noon at the Upstairs Team Room above the home clubhouse at Tartt Field.  Once batting practice begins, former players are invited to head coach Gary and Joan Rundles' deck behind the right field wall where there will be food and drinks for everyone beginning around game time.

The on-field recognition between games is the final item on Saturday's agenda for the 2005 players, who will be free to gather together for dinner or meet with friends in Livingston following the second game.

For players still in town on the morning of Sunday, April 26, the group is planning to meet at Dandy Don's for breakfast at 8 a.m. The 2005 players and their families are also invited to join the current Tigers at team chapel at 9:45 a.m.

The GSC-leading 2015 Tigers are scheduled to finish off the series with UAH with a single game Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m.
