CLINTON, Miss. – After Mississippi College and West Alabama split six singles matches, the Choctaws won two of three in doubles to take a 5-4 Gulf South Conference men's tennis win over the Tigers Wednesday at the MC Tennis Complex.
West Alabama, ranked 42
nd nationally and 10
th in the NCAA South Region, dropped to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in GSC play. Mississippi College is 5-4 and 2-0.

Christopher Wood and Andril Stratienko won singles matches at #3 through #5, but
Caspar Schuetze and
Prabh Bal were the only Tigers to manage a win in doubles as the Tigers lost for the second straight match.
West Alabama plays the second of three straight road matches at Alabama State on Saturday at 2 p.m.
