FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – One of Noel Johnson's three shots found the back of the net as West Alabama men's soccer fell to NCAA Division II South Region-foe Nova Southeastern 0-1 on Friday.
The Tigers fall to 0-2 on the season, while the Sharks improve to 2-1.
Johnson broke away from two Tiger defenders, netting the unassisted game-clinching goal off of his own blocked shot in the 31
st minute.
Nico Rosiglioni (1-1) earns the win after making five saves on the day.
Brad Louis (0-2) takes the loss, allowing just one goal on 14 shots faced.
West Alabama will return to action Sunday, taking on Florida Tech at 11 a.m.
