WOMEN'S SERIES
This is the 54th meeting. Delta State leads the series 48-5. The Lady Statesmen have won six in a row.

WOMEN'S RECORDS
West Alabama is 4-9 overall, 1-5 in GSC play. Delta State is 5-6, 2-4 in the GSC and 4-0 at home.

MEN'S SERIES
This is the 68th meeting between the Tigers and Statesmen. Delta State leads the series 41-27. The two teams split a pair of games last season.

MEN'S RECORDS
West Alabama is 8-4 overall, 3-3 in GSC play. DSU is 9-3 and 4-2. The Statesmen are 4-1 at home. UWA is 3-2 in road games.

MODEST STREAKS
The UWA men have won four straight, while the Delta State men have won two in a row. The Tiger women have lost four consecutive games.

NATIONAL DEFENSE
The West Alabama men are 10th the nation in scoring defense, allowing just 62.8 points per game. The Tigers held Mississippi College to 19 points below their scoring average in a win over the Choctaws on Saturday.

BLOCK PARTY
Malik Johnson blocked four shots in just 15 minutes of playing time in the UWA's win at Mississippi College on Saturday. Still, Johnson needs to go on a swatting frenzy to catch up with Domonique Alexander, who leads the league with 30 rejections. Alexander's game high was seven against Eckerd. Alexander has at least one blocked shot in every game this year.

JOHNNY COME LATELY
Johnny Stallworth has played a big part in the Tigers' four-game win streak, coincidentally his only four starts of the year. The J.F. Shields product has converted 10 of his last 22 field goal attempts, including three big second-half three-pointers in a come-from behind at Mississippi College Saturday.

WELCOME BACK ARIEL
After scoring over 20 points just once in the Tigers' first eight games, Ariel Wilson is back displaying the form that earned her All-GSC honors last season. The senior from Brandon, Mississippi, has scored 21 points in each of the Tigers last two games and is averaging 19.0 points over the last five games.
