UWA vs UAH Basketball Doubleheader Shifted to Sunday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference basketball doubleheader between West Alabama and Alabama Huntsville has been switched from Saturday, Dec. 2 to Sunday, Dec. 3 at Pruitt Hall Gym on the UWA campus.

The women will tip off at 2 p.m. and the men at 4 p.m. central time.

The shift is to accommodate the 2017 NCAA Division II Football Quarterfinal Playoff game between West Alabama and West Florida, which is scheduled to kick off Saturday at noon at Tiger Stadium.

West Alabama opens its 2017-18 GSC schedule Thursday when North Alabama comes to Pruitt Hall Gym for a doubleheader. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m.
