Ben Dalke Signs with Tiger Baseball

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Infielder/pitcher Ben Dalke has signed to continue his college baseball career at the University of West Alabama.
 
Dalke comes to UWA from Central Missouri State, where he sat out a redshirt season after transferring from Colby (Kan.) Community College.
 
Dalke was a two-time honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference performer for head coach Ryan Carter at Colby CC, hitting .385 with 14 doubles, six home runs and 34 RBI as a sophomore. He also made nine relief pitching appearances and was 2-1 with a 2.00 earned run average, striking out 13 in nine innings of work.

He was a three-year letter winner and a career .324 hitter for coach Shawn Wyss at Castle View (Colo.) High School, earning second team all-conference honors as a senior. He was 4-2 with a 4.27 ERA as a pitcher his senior season, striking out 21 in 42.2 innings pitched.
