Brador Scores Two, Tigers Defeat Shorter

LIVINGSTON, Ala.Ali Brador was up to his old tricks again using two goals to help propel the West Alabama Tigers to a 3-1 win over the Shorter Hawks Friday night in Tiger Stadium in Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer action.
 
UWA improves to 6-6-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the GSC. Shorter falls to 1-14 and 1-9 in the conference.
 
Brador scored his first goal with 23:28 past on an assist from Stephen Carroll. The Brador and Carroll connection worked together for UWA's second goal at the 52:30 mark to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
 
The two goals by native of Ronchin, France gives Brador 10 goals on the season.
 
After a Shorter goal, Alejandro Castellon Goncalves scored his first goal of the year on an assist from Kyle McLeod at the 75:33 mark to put UWA up for the 3-1 final.
 
The Tigers took 19 shots total and 10 shots on goal compared to 11 shots and nine SOGs for the Hawks.
 
West Alabama returns to action Sunday against the Lee Flames in GSC action with the match scheduled to start at 3 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
