UWA at UAH Baseball Series Changes to Saturday, Sunday

HUNTSVILLE– With inclement weather expected, West Alabama and Alabama Huntsville have agreed to a second schedule change in an effort to play all three games in the upcoming Gulf South Conference baseball series.
 
The series will now begin with a single game on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Charger Park on the UAH campus. A Sunday doubleheader is now scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
 
Alabama Huntsville is currently eighth in the GSC standings with a 9-9 record, 20-15 overall. West Alabama is 10that 6-11 in league play, 12-19 overall. 
 
The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the 2018 Gulf South Conference Tournament, which will be hosted May 5-8 by the club that wins the regular season title.
 
All three games will be carried live on the Twin States Leader, ESPN 104.9 or streaming at www.twinstatesmedia.com.
