CBU Stuns Tigers for First Win of Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Chrisitina Brothers Buccaneers earned their first victory of the season with a 1-0 win over the West Alabama Tigers Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer action.
 
UWA falls to 4-2-1 overall and 2-2-0 in the GSC. CBU improves to 1-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the conference.
 
The only goal of the game came at the 55:01 mark when Abib Keita scored his first goal of the season which proved to be the game winner.
 
The Tigers were limited to three shots with only one being on goal while the Bucs took six shots with five on goal.
 
Ollie Harrison finished the match with four saves.
 
West Alabama returns to action Sept. 27 in a non-conference match against Florida National set to start at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium. Links to live stats and Tiger Vision Live Video will be available at uwaathletics.com.
