Waites Earns Second GSC Weekly Honor
UWA junior right-hander Cole Waites has earned his second GSC pitcher of the week award for his performance in a win over Saint Leo last week. He fanned 13 in six innings of work to earn a win over Saint Leo, allowing four hits and one run. The Lawrenceville, Georgia product was GSC pitcher of the week on March 5 for taking a no-hitter into the eighth inning in a win at West Georgia.

Three of the top 10 hitters in the Gulf South Conference are featured in this series. UWA's Gavin Rogers is fourth in the league at .386 and the Tigers' Trevor Smeeton is seventh with a .384 average. Union's Nolen Milton is eighth in the league in hitting at .378.
