UWA Softball Set for August Summer Camps

LIVINGSTON, Ala.– The University of West Alabama Softball team is set to host various sessions of camps on August 24-25 at the UWA Softball complex on the UWA campus focused on improving skills of high school age players.
 
Open from students entering the seventh though 12th grades, the camps will be split into four different sessions with the first three on August 24 and the final on August 25. 
 
The first session on August 24, which lasts from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., will focus on All Around Skills: Hitting and Defense. From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the second session is a Hitting Clinic. Session III, lasting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., is Defense: Pitching and Catching. The fourth session is a Prospect Camp on August 25 going from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
 
Each session costs $75 each, but discounts are available for multiple sessions with any two going for $120, three for $160 and all four for $200.
