LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Softball team is ranked fifth in the NCAA South Region Rankings.

UWA comes in at No. 5 after accumulating a 37-11-1 overall record with three games remaining in the regular season. The Tigers have picked up high quality wins over Spring Hill, AUM, Montevallo, West Florida, Columbus State, and UAH in 2026.

West Alabama will conclude the regular season with a three-game series against Mississippi College who is ranked ninth in the Region Rankings.

With UWA sitting at No. 5, Saint Leo is ranked No. 1 followed by AUM, West Florida, Montevallo, Tampa, Florida Tech, UAH, Mississippi College, and Spring Hill in that order.

The next edition of the NCAA Region Rankings will release next Wednesday.
