TIGER GSC HONORS THIS SEASON
LaJuan Hardy, GSC Co-Player of the Week, Dec. 3

THIS SEEMS FAMILIAR
The Tigers are facing the exact same team the faced last week as the GSC schedule moves to playing teams UWA has faced in the past three weeks except in the opposite venues. After the retread this week, West Alabama will be on the road for Alabama Huntsville and Lee; host Christian Brothers and Union the following week and will finally face a new opponent on Feb. 20 on the road against West Georgia.

HOT AND COLD
The Tigers had a weekend Katy Perry and Thanos would've enjoyed in shooting from the floor with a scorching 60.8 percent effort Thursday night against Montevallo which was the best percentage of the season. However, the scales balanced with the worst shooting effort of the season from the field Saturday against West Florida as UWA connected on a chilling 22.8 percent of field goal attempts.

BLOCK PARTY
Lost in in Saturday's defeat at the hands of West Florida, Ricky Dunnaway set a UWA career high in blocked shots with five. The number of blocks tied for the third best effort in a GSC game this season. The senior from Murfreesboro, Tennessee is third in the conference in blocks per game with an average of 1.4 a night.

THE OPPONENTS
Montevallo averages 73.6 points per game on offense and is allowing 66.2 points each time out. West Florida enters the weekend with an offensive average of 55.3 points and is allowing 63.1 points a night.

OH, IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT
No need to panic, but this week is the second of three straight weeks the Tigers will have a later than usual start. Like last Saturday, UWA vs. West Florida is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start time. Tipoff next week at Lee is slated for 6 p.m. central as well.
