TIGER GSC HONORS THIS SEASON
LaJuan Hardy, GSC Co-Player of the Week, Dec. 3

STILL A STOUT DEFENSIVE UNIT
West Alabama defense continues to lead all of NCAA Division II in points per game allowed at 55.1 points. The Tigers' defense is eighth best in opponent field goal percentage at 38.1 percent and 13th in scoring margin at 18.2 with both marks leading the conference. UWA is now second in the GSC in turnover margin (2.62), but still leads in rebounding margin (7.0).

BACKCOURT IN DOUBLE FIGURES…UNDEFEATED IN REGULATION
Getting the backcourt duo of LaJuan Hardy and Darron Johnson maybe critical to success for the UWA Tigers. When both guards score in double figures, the team is 7-1 with the only loss coming on the road on Nov. 23 to Mississippi College in overtime.

AWARDS FOR UNION
Several members of the Union men's basketball team have earned GSC Player of the Week honors. Ousmane Gueye (Nov. 12) and Cooper Meadows (Nov. 26, Dec. 3, Dec. 10 and Jan. 7) have earned Freshmen of the Week honors while Tyree Boykin was named Player of the Week on Dec. 3.
