WEST ALABAMA
The Tigers are 10-9 overall and 5-8 in the Gulf South Conference heading into the week. The Tigers split a pair of games in conference for a third week in row with an 85-80 loss to Montevallo and a 56-51 win Saturday over West Florida. UWA is 2-5 away from Pruitt Hall this season.
 
ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE
The Chargers are 11-8 overall and 8-5 in league competition with a four-game winning streak. UAH did it on the road last week with a gritty 68-67 win over Delta State and a solid 67-49 victory at Mississippi College. The Chargers have complied a 6-3 record at home.
 
LEE
Ranked #6 in the latest coaches' poll and #4 in the D2SIDA poll, the Lady Flames enter the weekend with a 20-1 overall record and a 7-1 record in the GSC while riding a nine-game winning streak. Lee defeated Delta State 66-44 last Thursday at home and beat Mississippi College 74-42 on the road. The Lady Flames are 12-0 at home.

Rusty Cram is 63-94 (.401) in his sixth season at West Alabama, 326-357 (.477) in his 25th season as a collegiate head coach. Andrea Lemmond is 69-87 (.442) in her sixth season as a head coach all at Alabama Huntsville. Marty Rowe is 427-103. (.802) in his 16th season as head coach at Lee, 548-168 (.765) in his 22nd season as a collegiate coach.

RUN IT BACK
This is the second matchups of the season for the Tigers against UAH and Lee. Both of the first games took place in Pruitt Hall Gym. On Jan. 16 against Alabama Huntsville, UWA defeated the Chargers 68-55. Tazsa Garrett-Hammett finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Bria Dent contributed 11 points and 10 boards. Lee beat the Tigers in a come from behind 73-62 win. Garrett-Hammett and Dent both scored 15 points for West Alabama. Dent collected 11 rebounds for her then ninth double double. Naelyn Rios scored 14 points.
 
AMONG THE ELITE
Bria Dent enters the weekend with 12 double doubles in 20 games this season. The mark puts her tied for 10th in NCAA Division II and just five off pace for the most in the country. Dent's double double streak was snapped at six straight Saturday against West Florida.
 
EN FUEGO
We've mentioned the names a few times, but Tazsa Garrett-Hammett and Bria Dent are working hard to keep the Tigers in contention for a GSC Championship Tournament berth. In the last 10 games for Dent, she's averaging 16.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2.4 steals since Jan. 4. Meanwhile, Garrett-Hammett is averaging 19 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.7 steals, 1.5 blocks while shooting 57.5 percent from the floor in the last six conference games. 
 
THE OPPONENTS
UAH is scoring 66.8 points (10th) a night and allowing 65.5 points (eighth) on average. Lee is scoring 73.9 points (fourth) per game and has become the top defense in the GSC and allowing 54.9 points per night.
