Tigers Face Alabama Huntsville at Home on Monday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama men's basketball team faces Alabama Huntsville on Monday in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

The Tigers enter the matchup with a 5-0 overall record and are 2-0 in GSC play. The Chargers are 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

This is the 29th meeting between UWA and UAH. Alabama Huntsville leads the series 20-8. In the latest matchup, the Chargers defeated the Tigers 76-65 in the semifinals round of the GSC Championship Tournament in March 2022.

Terry Durham leads the Tigers with 15.4 points per game, shooting 63 percent from the floor. Durham averages 8.8 rebounds per contest. Justin Allison averages 13.8 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists per game.

Shardarrion Allen averages 11.8 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game. Kuran Garner averages 11.2 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game. Garner leads the Tigers in steals with nine, ranking him third in the GSC. CJ Melton leads the Tigers in assists with 14, ranking 14th in the conference.

UWA's offense leads the GSC, averaging 86.6 points per game. The team's defense also leads the GSC, limiting their opponents to 54 points per game. UWA's scoring margin is 32.6 points a game.

Chaney Johnson leads the Chargers with 19.4 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game. Luke Burnett averages 13.9 points per game.
