Durham Posted a Double-Double in the 51-46 Loss to Lee

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama men's basketball forward Terry Durham posted his second double-double of the season by dropping 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the 51-46 loss to Lee University Sunday evening inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. 

The Tigers dropped to 6-2 overall and are 3-2 in GSC play. The Flames improved to 3-2 overall.
 
Along with Durham, two other Tigers scored in double figures. Shardarrion Allen posted 13 points and had three rebounds. Kuran Garner had 11 points, five rebounds, and two assists. 
 
Justin Allison added five points, six rebounds, and an assist. Marvin Price had two points and three rebounds. Peter Turay had a free throw to round out UWA's scoring. CJ Melton grabbed 10 rebounds for the Tigers.
 
With 5:14 remaining in the first half, Lee held a 20-11 lead over UWA. The Tigers went on a 7-2 run to trim the Flames' lead heading into halftime, 22-18. 
 
The Tigers scored 28 points in the second half, while the Flames put up 29. Lee held the lead and came away with the 51-46 win. The score was tied five times, and there were four lead changes during the game.
 
Jayce Willingham led the Flames' offense with 20 points and five rebounds. P Jay Smith posted a double-double. He scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.  
 
The Flames shot 38.6 percent (17-of-44) from the floor, 30 percent (3-of-10) from beyond the arc, and 63.6 percent (14-of-22) from the free throw line.
 
The Tigers hit the road on Friday, taking on Mississippi College in a GSC matchup. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. inside A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton, Mississippi.
