Tigers to Host Spring Hill College

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama welcomes Spring Hill for a mid-week nonconference game at Tartt Field on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The Tigers bring a 6-17 overall record into the game, while the Badgers are 9-8.

UWA is looking to rebound after losing two of three games against West Florida last weekend. SHC comes into the game after sweeping Benedict College in a three-game series.

Scott Germak will get his first start on the mound for the Tigers. Appearing in three games this year, Germack has pitched 2.1 innings, struck out four batters, and has given up one earned run.

Josh Bower leads the Tiger bats with a batting average of .376 and is currently on a 10 game hit streak. Jake Nemith follows Bower at .375, a team high of four homers, and has reached base in all 23 games.

Brayden Lyman has 28 hits, two home-runs, and has batted in 19 runners. Gavin Rogers and Kyle Vogler have 21 hits each.

Micah Morgan and Grayson Williamson lead the Badger hitters with five home runs and 22 runs batted in each.
