MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill jumped to a 14-run lead after three innings and never looked back on the way to an 18-4 win over West Alabama Wednesday at Historic Stan Galle Field.

Spring Hill improved to 13-9, while West Alabama dropped to 7-21 in the second game between the Tigers and Badgers in seven days.

Tiger starter Payton Graben (0-1) was charged with the loss after allowing six earned runs on four hits over a third of an inning. Colin Millar (3-3) earned the win for the Badgers, pitching one complete inning and giving up no runs on no hits. Graben and Millar were two of 13 combined pitchers who toed the pitching rubber for both teams.

The Tiger pitching staff gave up 15 hits, 15 earned runs, walked eight batters, hit two and struck out four. Badger pitchers allowed just four hits and two earned runs while walking five and striking out seven.
