Tigers Welcome Tuskegee for Mid-Week Matchup

LIVINGSTON, Ala – West Alabama will host Tuskegee in a mid-week nonconference baseball game on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Tartt Field.

UWA has a 5-14 overall record, while Tuskegee is 6-7.

Tyler Benson (0-0, 5.40) is slated to make his third start as a Tiger pitcher.

West Alabama is looking to bounce back from losing two of three games at Shorter last weekend. The Golden Tigers are riding a five-game win streak after sweeping Clark Atlanta.

Josh Bower leads the Tiger hitters with a .395 batting average and is on a six-game hit streak. Jonathan Thibodeau follows Bower at .378.

In addition to reaching base in all 19 games this season, Jake Nemith has two home-runs and a .367 batting average of .367. Gavin Rogers leads the Tigers in homers with three.

Caleb Cobb leads Tuskegee hitters with a .406 batting average and leads the Tigers with nine runs batted in.
