Dent Recorded 13th Double-Double in the 52-47 Loss to Montevallo

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team took a 52-47 loss to Montevallo Wednesday evening inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. 

The Tigers dropped to 9-8 overall and are 6-7 in GSC play. The Falcons improved to 6-11 and are now 6-7 in the conference.
 
Two Tigers posted double figures. Bria Dent led UWA with 18 points and 11 rebounds. This is Dent's 13th double-double of the season. Jala Williams posted 10 points and five rebounds.
 
UWA was down 22-15 at the half. The Tigers scored 19 points in the third quarter to cut the Falcons' lead to 35-34. Montevallo outscored UWA in the fourth quarter to come away with the 52-47 win.
 
Montevallo shot 32.1 percent from the floor, 21.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 52 percent from the free throw line. McCarley Northway led the Falcons with 11 points and eight rebounds. 
 
The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday to host Auburn Montgomery in GSC action. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium.
