Tigers Set to Host Auburn Montgomery on Wednesday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama men's basketball team is set to host Auburn Montgomery in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium.

The Tigers are 13-4 overall and 9-4 in GSC play. The Warhawks bring an 8-9 overall record to Livingston and are 6-7 in the conference. UWA defeated AUM 81-51 earlier this season in November 2022.

Shardarrion Allen leads the Tigers' offense. He averages 14.3 points per game, shooting 50 percent from the field. He also averages 5.6 rebounds per game and two assists per game. Allen ranks 14th in the GSC in scoring and in rebounds.

Terry Durham averages 13.9 points per game and eight rebounds per game. Durham ranks third in the GSC in rebounds and 16th in scoring.

Justin Allison averages 12.8 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. Allison also averages three assists per game, ranking him ninth in the GSC. Allison ranks sixth in the GSC for free throw percentage and 17th in 3-point field goals per game.

Kuran Garner averages 11.2 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game. CJ Melton ranks 12th in the conference for rebounds and averages 5.8 per contest.

As a unit, UWA averages 75.1 points per game. The Tigers' defense leads the GSC in scoring defense, holding its opponent to 62.1 points per game. UWA's scoring margin is 13.1 points per game.

Travis Anderson leads the Warhawks' offense with 16.5 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game.
