Dent Posted 10th Double-Double in Matchup Against CBU

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team took a 66-60 loss from Christian Brothers Monday evening inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. The Tigers dropped to 9-5 overall and are 6-4 in GSC play. The Lady Bucs improved to 6-7 overall and are 4-6 in the conference. 
 
Three Tigers posted double figures. Bria Dent tied her season-high of 23 points and grabbed a new season-high of 19 rebounds. She also had three assists and two steals in the matchup. Zoe Watts posted a season-high of 21 points and seven rebounds. Jala Williams added 10 points, had four rebounds, and four assists. 
 
The Tigers were down 29-25 at the half. The Lady Bucs outscored UWA 19-13 in the third quarter to extend the lead to 48-38. UWA dropped 22 points in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough. The Lady Bucs claimed the 66-60 win over the Tigers.
 
Three Bucs scored in double figures. Emily Jones posted 18 points and five rebounds. Chloe Crawford and Jeremia Montogmery each had 12 points in the matchup. Montgomery grabbed seven rebounds. 
 
The Bucs shot 35.7 percent (25-of-70) from the field, 15.4 percent (2-of-13) from the three-point range, and 61.5 percent (8-of-13) from the foul line. 
 
The Tigers hit the road on Thursday to head to West Florida. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. inside UWF Field House in Pensacola, Florida.
