LIVINGSTON, Ala.- The Tigers walloped NAIA opponent Oakwood tonight inside Pruitt Hall by a score of 93-25.
The Tigers Outscored the Ambassadors 45-12 in the first half, with Oakwood shooting an abysmal 5-20 from the field and 0-9 from three. The Tigers didn't let off the gas in the second half, adding on with a 48-13 deficit in the 2nd half.
Terry Durham led the Tigers scoring efforts with 16 points on 10 shots and 2 free throws, followed by Maurice Dickson who added 13 points and seven boards while shooting 50% from the field.
CJ Melton added 12 points and 4 rebounds and cashed in on two threes.
The Tigers shot 50% from the three-point line and 53% from the field tonight overall in an absurd offensive effort. "It's great for momentum going into the break. The guys are ecstatic about the results this weekend and ready for conference play," said Head Coach Nick Woodruff postgame.
The Tigers will begin GSC play with a visit from Montevallo on Monday, November 27th inside Pruitt Hall. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
