Men's Hoops Travels to CBU and Union

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - West Alabama men's basketball team looks claim two more road victories this week. The Tigers take on Christian Brothers on Thursday at 7 p.m. inside Canale Arena.

UWA is 20-4 overall and 16-4 in GSC play. CBU is 5-18 overall and 5-15 in the conference. Aiden Ruthsatz leads the Bucs with 12.3 points per game and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Shardarrion Allen leads the Tigers' offense. He averages 14.4 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game. Allen ranks 15th in the GSC in scoring and 12th in rebounds.

Justin Allison averages 13.5 points per game, ranking him 19th in the GSC in scoring. He averages 3.9 rebounds per game and 3.4 assists per game. He ranks second in the GSC for free throw percentage, ninth in assists, and 16th in 3-point field goals per game.

Terry Durham averages 13.3 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game. Durham ranks third in the GSC in rebounds and 20th in scoring.

Kuran Garner averages 11.5 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game. CJ Melton ranks 12th in the conference for rebounds and averages 5.8 per contest.

As a unit, UWA averages 73.6 points per game. The Tigers' defense leads the GSC in scoring defense, holding its opponent to 61.3 points per game. UWA's scoring margin is 12.3 points per game.

Heading into weekend action, the Tigers face Union on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Fred DeLay Gymnasium in Jackson, Tennessee. The Bulldogs are 13-11 overall and 12-8 in the conference. Tylandrius Parks leads the Bulldogs with 19.2 points per game and seven rebounds per game.
