Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

UWA Falls to UWF, 67-57; Tigers Enter Postseason Play on Tuesday

LIVINGSTON, Ala.  - West Alabama women's basketball team had four Tigers score in double figures in the 67-57 loss to West Florida to wrap up regular season play Saturday evening inside Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. 
 
The Tigers dropped to 13-15 overall and are 10-14 in GSC play. The Argos dropped to 21-6 overall and are 20-4 in the conference. 
 
Zoe Watts led the Tigers with 16 points. Bria Dent, Jala Williams, and Maryanne Logsdon each posted 13 points. Kamille Clark added two points. Dent had 11 rebounds, and Williams dished out seven assists. 
 
The Tigers had a 26-23 lead at halftime. The Argos had a big fourth quarter, out-scoring the Tigers 26-19, allowing UWF to come away with the 67-57 win. Jaden Langford led the Argos with 16 points and six rebounds. 
 
The Tigers enter postseason play on the road on Tuesday against Lee University. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. CT inside Paul Dana Walker Arena in Cleveland, Tennessee.
