Bishop Returns to UWA Women’s Tennis

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama women's tennis team welcomes back former player Morgan Bishop.

"It is great to have Morgan back, she was a big part of some great years," head coach Jeff Beaman said. "She gives us some depth and brings great energy and leadership along with exceptional doubles skills."

Bishop finished the pandemic-shortened season with a 4-3 record at No. 6 singles. Bishop had a 5-1 record at No. 2 or No. 3 doubles. Bishop ended the year with a three-match winning streak. Bishop was named ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Bishop and the Tigers will be back on the court Saturday for a GSC match against Lee. The first serve is set for 10 a.m. CT at DeVos Tennis Center in Cleveland, Tennessee.
