Men’s Tennis Ranks No. 8 in ITA National Tennis Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the NCAA Division II Tennis National Team, Singles, and Doubles Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point. The Tigers are ranked No. 8.

In doubles play, Lucas Hammond and Marcel Hornung ranked No. 4. Ilari Vesanen and Ilia Dehodiuk ranked No. 48.

"The men have had a strong year and we have been going through some injuries these past few weeks," head coach Jeff Beaman said. "I feel we are getting close to being healthy and I am excited you see what they can accomplish the rest of the season."

The Tigers are 11-8 overall and 5-3 in GSC play.

"Being ranked Top Ten is well deserved," Beaman said.

The Tigers will be back on the court for a GSC match against Mississippi College. The first serve is set for 2 p.m. at Vaughan Tennis Complex.
