LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Tennis Program is set to host the Fall GSC Championships this weekend in Mobile, Alabama.
The Tournament is set to begin on Friday, October 31 at 10:00 AM with a Champion set to be crowned on Sunday morning at the Mobile Tennis Center. The event will be free of charge. 
"This is a great event to end the Fall Season with," said head coach Jeff Beaman. "The Champions of Flight One Singles and Doubles are named the GSC Individual Champion for this year. We are looking to add more Champions from UWA this fall."
On the Women's side, Alexa Milliam is the headliner for the Tigers. After going 19-0 in Singles play as a true freshman last season, Milliam made it to the Regional Semifinals earlier this month which punched her ticket to the National Tournament. Doubles All-American, Valentina Mutilba is also back for West Alabama while the Tigers brought in a slew of transfers and Freshman who will see their first GSC action this weekend.
For the Men, Division I transfer, Matias Iturbe leads the way. The Graduate Student transferred in from Charlotte over the Summer and made his introduction with UWA by impressing in the ITA Regional Tournament. Along with Iturbe, returners Jacob Tapia and Sebastiao Vilas will look to bolster West Alabama's efforts this weekend.
The Fall GSC Championships are set to begin on Friday, October 31 through Sunday, November 2 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, AL.
