LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama's Bryant Quimby was listed to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Baseball Team, announced by the association on Tuesday. 

To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests. Pitchers must make at least 17 appearances or throw 25 innings.

Quimby, a junior from Atmore, Alabama, threw 64 innings as a weekend starter for the Tigers in 2024, posting a 4-4 record. In Gulf South Conference play, he posted three starts with seven innings and two earned runs allowed.

The GSC saw 21 student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District® Team.
