MEMPHIS, Tenn. — West Alabama dropped a straight-set match to Christian Brothers on Saturday at Canale Arena. The loss marked the ninth straight for the Tigers, who now sit at 6-12 overall and 2-9 in Gulf South Conference play.
Despite a competitive start with kills from Jazlyn Snow and Klára Bobánová and multiple service aces from Bailey Keef, UWA couldn't overcome Christian Brothers' efficient attack. The Lady Bucs (8-14, 3-8 GSC) held West Alabama to a .079 hitting percentage while maintaining control throughout the match.
West Alabama will look to break its skid when the Tigers travel to Montgomery to face Auburn Montgomery on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
