LIVINGSTON, Ala. — West Alabama battled but ultimately fell to Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday afternoon at Pruitt Hall, 3-0.
The Tigers showed strong resilience and energy, highlighted by a competitive second set where UWA erased an early deficit and earned a late lead at 25-24 thanks to clutch kills from KB Kinney and key defensive plays from Gracie Pierscinski and Cadence Goeden.
Kinney paced the Tigers' attack, while Jana Petkovic delivered well-timed service aces and Katerina Korre added a kill and an ace to spark the offense in the final frame. Jazlyn Snow also contributed timely swings at the net as UWA continued to fight throughout the match.
West Alabama will look to bounce back on the road as the Tigers travel to Spragins Hall in Huntsville, Alabama, to face UAH on November 5th. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
