LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Athletic Department is excited to announce the 2025 Summer and Fall Graduation Scholar-Athlete Medallion recipients.

A total of 61 Student-Athletes walked the stage on this past Thursday and Friday, with 23 of them claiming a Scholar-Athlete Medallion. 

"We are incredibly proud of all of our graduating student-athletes at UWA, especially our scholar–student athletes," said Director of Athletics Brett Gilliland. "They represent our university with integrity, determination, and a commitment to excellence in the classroom and in competition. Their dedication reflects what it means to be a Tiger—working hard, supporting one another, and striving to succeed in every aspect of life."

To earn a Scholar-Athlete medallion, a student-athlete must have completed her/his eligibility as a Tiger Student-Athlete and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better.
