CLINTON, Miss. — West Alabama (4-5, 2-4 GSC) fell to Mississippi College, 75-62, on Saturday night despite holding a 51-37 rebounding edge. Turnovers proved costly, as the Choctaws converted 15 Tiger miscues into 19 points.
West Alabama trailed 22–13 after the first quarter and 29–22 at halftime before mounting a strong third-quarter push to cut the deficit to six. The Tigers continued to battle in the fourth, but Mississippi College sealed the game with timely baskets and free throws down the stretch.
West Alabama returns home on January 2, 2026 to face Christian Brothers in Pruitt Hall.
