LIVINGSTON, Ala. – No. 8 West Alabama Tigers baseball stays at Tartt Field on Tuesday, March 10, hosting the William Carey Crusaders in a midweek matchup scheduled for 5 p.m.
West Alabama enters the contest with an 18-3 overall record and a 10-2 mark in Gulf South Conference play after securing a conference series victory over Valdosta State Blazers baseball over the weekend.
High-Powered Tiger Offense
The Tigers have been one of the most productive offensive teams in the region, hitting .326 as a team with 223 hits and 146 RBIs through 21 games.
Nick Wilson leads the lineup with a .388 batting average while pacing the team in RBIs (26) and home runs (5). Wilson also carries a 1.070 OPS and has collected 31 hits on the season.
Rashad Robinson continues to be a dynamic presence at the top of the order, batting .343 with 23 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 11 attempts. Robinson owns a 1.080 OPS and a .466 on-base percentage.
Hudson Walburn is hitting .329 with 24 hits and 15 RBIs, while
Kyle Blevins has added 18 hits and 13 RBIs.
Several Tigers have also delivered strong performances in limited opportunities, including

Baker Green has been a key piece of the Tigers' rotation with a 2.67 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 30.1 innings while holding opponents to a .225 batting average.
Blake Westry has posted a 1.29 ERA with a 3-0 record across six appearances, while
Colin Woodham owns a 2-0 record with 25 strikeouts in 28.2 innings.
Out of the bullpen,
Tyler Pierce has been dominant, recording two saves with a 2.25 ERA and 10 strikeouts while allowing just three hits in eight innings of work.

The Crusaders are hitting .309 as a team and are led by DeeJay Booth, who is batting .358 with four home runs and 25 RBIs. Hays Carley has also been productive, hitting .373 with 22 hits and a .532 on-base percentage.
