Hall of Fame
Leo Wright was a captain on the 1971 National Championship team and a starting wide receiver. He caught 25 passes as a senior after the team converted to to the wishbone offense. He caught over 40 his junior year and was a member of the All-Alabama Small College team in both his junior and senior seasons. He was a successful high school coach for many years at Jonesboro (Ga.), Mountain Brook and Minor. He also served as a graduate assistant at Livingston (UWA).
He started Wright Equipment Company in 1979 and has serviced 90 percent of the high schools in Alabama and over 15 colleges. He has also serviced several Major League Baseball and National Football League Teams. Wright Equipment ships products nationwide weekly.
