Women's Hoops Returns to Action at Talladega

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – After 10 days away from the court, the University of West Alabama women's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 23 as UWA (1-0) visits Talladega College. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.

This marks the 23rd meeting between TC (1-5) and West Alabama. The Red and White hold an 18-4 advantage after claiming a 64-61 win over Talladega last season.

The Tigers opened the season with a 56-48 region win over Barry on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Pruitt Hall. The victory marked the second straight season opening win for the program – the first time the Tigers have accomplished that feat since the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

TC (1-5) enters the contest on a five game losing streak after getting nipped 77-76 by Tuskegee on Saturday. The Lady Tornadoes' lone win came in the season opener - a 46-42 victory at Stillman. Ebony Richardson leads the way for TC - averaging 15.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
