LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The West Alabama women's tennis team closed out a five-match homestand with its seventh straight victory, a 9-0 shellacking of West Georgia, Saturday at the Vaughn Tennis Center.
The victory improves West Alabama's record to 10-2 overall and 3-2 in Gulf South Conference play. The Tigers are 6-2 at home this season. West Georgia dropped to 0-7, 0-3 in the GSC.
West Alabama, who did not lose a set in the match with the Lady Wolves, begins a three-match road swing in Memphis, Tenn., against Christian Brothers on Tuesday. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
