UWA Women’s Tennis Blanks Clark Atlanta, 9-0

ATLANTA – The University of West Alabama women's tennis team won its second straight match, defeating Clark Atlanta, 9-0, Sunday at the CAU Courts.

The win improves the West Alabama women to 2-1. Clark Atlanta is now 0-3.

"That was a strong finish to the weekend for the women," West Alabama coach Jeff Beaman said. "We are looking forward to playing a strong Alcorn State team at home this Thursday."

Both the UWA women and men will entertain NCAA Division I Alcorn State Thursday at 1 p.m. Admission is free to the matches at the Vaughan Tennis Complex.

The Tigers swept all six singles and all three doubles matches on the way to the win. Following are complete results from the match:
