Road Troubles Continue for Tiger Women

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Struggles away from home continued for the West Alabama women's tennis team as No. 30 Auburn-Montgomery defeated the 22^nd-ranked Tigers, 6-3, Wednesday at the AUM Tennis Courts.

West Alabama is 10-5, with all five losses coming either on the road or at a neutral site. The Tigers are 2-4 on the road and 1-1 at neutral sites. AUM improved to 11-3.

Amina Mukhametshina and Teona Tatishvili earned wins for UWA at No. 1 and 4 singles, respectively. No. 26 Mukhametshina defeated Paula Diaz 6-3, 6-0 and Tatishvili defeated Celine Lenertz 6-4, 6-4.

No. 15 Mukhametshina and Georgina Morral earned UWA's lone win at doubles, defeating Paula Diaz and Anna Rudolfova, 8-5.
